Paste
Design, like Australian singer-songwriters, can age quickly. Paste was formed in part to provide a design option for forward-thinking businesses, businesses for whom a design must be attractive, functional and unique. Businesses who would rather not see their design investment join the conveyer belt of dated, dysfunctional designs dotting the web and print landscape in the months it takes to get people using them.
Paste specialises in branding, web, print and graphic design, advertising and campaign planning. They meld something of the Japanese work ethic with Australian can-do, borrowing something of the sophistication and honesty from each. Paste offers a wide variety of design options from the massively complex to the deceptively simple, realising your needs across a range of mediums.
Paste is involved with a community of like-minded designers, writers and developers, but remains in possession of a willingness to think outside the boundaries designed by the design elite, in all their tight-panted shapes and sizes. Experimentation can sometimes mean cross-breeding pigs and jellyfish, but in Paste's capable hands, it means singular, sharp-looking things attacking your demographic in previously unseen ways. You will think, damn. You will be working with us to get you thinking, I might never have thought of that.
It's a little known fact: Japanese cranes mate for life. A good deal of the Great Influx of web designers could learn a lot from their feathered friends. Designs, in all their modern forms, may not necessarily outlast your physical body, but they should last a great deal of time, remaining relevant and effective and great to look at, running alongside you, or in some cases, a ways in front.
Paste, in collaboration with a network of developers, coders, copywriters, illustrators and information architects, can deliver work in a manner that redefines expediency, while never losing sight of a single detail. It takes peculiar people to be able to offer a service like this, and Paste plays host to just such a delicate assortment of these heads.
People
As any Richard Attenborough and Paula Abdul will tell you, the universe works best when it sees the union of opposing elements. Paste sees the union of just two such forces, in Anna Nicholson and Steven Watts, two seasoned designers based out of Sydney.

Flash sites
Paste* together in flash: anything from the small, wildfire-spreading promo to the large, content-managed site with database and backend.
Paste will make you a portfolio site with galleries for your art, a catalogue site for your products, a site with media players ready for your video and music. Built with or without a CMS; as simple and stripped back or advanced as you need. Don't fear flash. People will one day look back on its invention as they now do with things like opposable thumbs and those old jeans railway workers used to wear.
Website design
Paste* a small, explosive, short-lived promo site, leaving whispers and profit for miles, or a fully dressed large site, replete with bells and/or whistles. From the dreamy to the scientific. Use some Paste* from scratch, or stick some Paste* in your team. Paste can adapt to any project, at any stage of its completion. If we Paste* it, you know it will stick together, cause it will be Premium. It will be like those Japanese cranes. Have you ever seen them? They're beautiful. They hang out near rivers celebrating things like togetherness, long life and being pretty. Paste also delivers accessible XHTML sites.
Flash animation
Paste* yourself in to a cd-rom, Paste* a corporate presentation to make everyone laugh, sit up and crack out their monogrammed notepads. Paste* a site launch animation so people will know what it's all about, become unbearably excited, tell their friends and unwittingly begin the next great stage of viral marketing. Paste* an e-card for your clients so they can feel your love, or give a lonesome part of your site some Paste*. Have your things, whatever they might be, brought to the eyes, hands and pulses of many, many people.
Flash banners
Send us a brief, we'll Paste it, bringing it to life via concepts > storyboards > animations > optimising > before sending it to the interweb where it belongs, and will make numerous friends in wide-reaching places. We love trying to pack the mona lisa in to 30kb. We like fixing her nose. We aim to transform water-cooler talk from gossip into breathy admiration.
Print design & graphic design
Spill some paste all over your priceless piece of audio gold and its wrapper (cd packaging); spill some more all over a big piece of paper that you can Paste around town (posters, flyers); spill a little more as we consider with you other promo items we will design and create, and laugh happily ever after.
Paste loves to illustrate a picture for you (a logo). Paste enjoys illustrating most anything in the manifest universe. Paste can commission illustrations for you. Paste stays in bed long after the crickets have become silent, thinking of illustrations. Paste was the quiet kid in school, the one by the large window with the notepad.
Overflow/outsource jobs
Design studios: outsource your projects to us. Relieve your weary heads. Have excellent work back to you in the time it takes you to realize the value of a good night's sleep.
Content management systems
Open-source or custom CMS is available. The Japanese word for a computer geek is otaku. We are something else entirely. We work with talented developers and manage your project closely, occasionally using a series of underground tunnels commissioned shortly before the golden age of disco.
Union, oh union:
We didn't develop our portfolios, our relationships with clients, because we sell creamed corn to people telling them it's the sands of time. We will consult with you in real terms about the possibilities; alter, upgrade and extend those possibilities, bring new ones from the ether, and keep the entire thing on course, in time and in focus, for exactly where it needs to be headed.

BANNERS
It can sometimes be difficult remaining different or pretty. Different things get picked on, pretty things get old. Somehow, though, when you’re pretty and different, you have the knack of remaining great. Paste know this. Talk to them.

What is Paste?
It took someone to think Fork! before there was a fork.
Paste specialises in branding, web, print and graphic design, advertising and campaign planning. Paste offers a wide variety of design options from the massively complex to the deceptively simple, realising your needs across a range of mediums.
Paste recognises the necessity of planning, consultation and lateral thinking, of realising where your brand should be, in what forms and at what times. That this is an art form, one that at times seems more difficult than Yoko's piece with the flies. Paste, in a lot of ways, is like those stair machines for elderly people in two storey homes-they make difficult things easy.
